  1. I am a local from Dubai, and its rally interesting to see how people are living here, its like seeing Dubai from a different prospects..and if there is one thing I can say after watching this video, is that we live way differently than the expats! emirates are more chilled and laid back

  2. I was arrested and spent 3 days in jail because I brought my wife with me. According to their law, it’s still illegal to be gay or lesbian there. I didn’t know it at the time. Me and my wife had planned this trip and we’re very excited to go visit the Burj Khalifa. When we got to the hotel, we already made reservations for one room with a king size bed. I went to go pick up my key and my wife was standing next to me. The receptionist looked at me then her and asked, why do you need one bed if there is 2 of you? Would you like me to book another room with 2 beds? I looked at her surprised and told her no this is my wife, we do not sleep in separate beds. The receptionist looked shocked but handed out keys anyway. 3 hours later we heard a knock on our door. We opened it to find 3 police officers standing there. They told us we were being arrested because of our sexuality. They took us to the city law enforcement and we spent 3 nights there!!

    1. There’s nothing to watch anyway after the first 10 seconds, do you look at a portrait or an image for 25 mins constantly
I came here to hear her experiences of dubai, not to watch her talking for 25 minutes, plus I changed tabs but left the speakers up

    1. check the living conditions they put their construction workers in that build these buildings you think are lit and what they pay them, less than a $1 a day, lure them in and make them pay to be brought there, which is illegal, and take their passports once they land….its slave labor and inhumane, you won’t look at this place the same way. Never would I spend a dime to go to that shithole

Dubai is a beautiful city on the outside. But on the inside, their government is corrupt. The workers that help build the city do not get paid. Their law is still very strict. It is still illegal to be lesbian or gay in the UAE. Citizens suffer the death penalty if they are caught known to be a homosexual. For tourists, it’s one week in jail and passports denied into the country. Also if you go to the beach or water parks, women cannot wear a two piece and men cannot be shirtless. You are better using swim wear which local Muslims use. smoking, chewing gum, and drinking is not allowed between sunset and sunrise. Dancing in public is illegal. Couples (male and female) holding hands or hugging can face up to 5 months in jail. Friday is prayer day which means you are not allowed to eat or drink (even non alcohol beverages) in public. If caught with food or snacks can face up to 5,000 fine. Sharing an apartment with friend of opposite sex or same sex is a crime.

    1. clearly you have never been to Dubai. have you seen Dubai videos here on YouTube?????? titties in bikinis everywhere. unmarried couples hugging, holding hands etc and booze everywhere. dont be such a hater

It is not a crime to publicly beat your wife. If you see a man beating his wife or gf, you cannot call the authorities since they will do nothing. Same goes for tourists. But if you see a woman (even a female tourist) having freedom or free will in public, someone will call the police. LAST BUT NOT LEAST: the best tip to visit Dubai is to make money. 90% of foreigners are in Dubai for business. Visit to understand Islam. DO NOT visit Dubai for fun and entertainment which involves full freedom.

    1. I thinking you are confusing saudia arabia with the UAE….i was with my mom in the UAE and we did everything we wanted ALONE…and i saw tourists with shorts shorts but nobody did anything…i was shocked myself….dubai is awesome but expensive

    2. Everything you said is a lie! I’m a Army Veteran I’ve been there & I love it & the people! You are a troll or never been there! All lies! I’ve seen it with my eye’s! I’ve been treated better there than in America!

  5. Thank you for the update I lived in Dubai so so long ago about 20 to be exact ✨🌟✨it was so beautiful and I was very conservative anyways so the rules were never that hard to follow for me , it was a experience that I will always treasure πŸŒŸβœ¨πŸ’«

  6. This comment section though…. lmao if your looking for an idiot to call your own, they’re a dime a dozen in this place…. Jeez!!! lol like watching a bunch of children, fight over and imaginary marble lmao… it never existed but everyone is still arguing over it… anyways lol… i really enjoyed the video… very informative… THANKYOU! And i hope we do get to hear about your job eventually… id love to the process of getting work over there and being a foreigner

    1. Florides BB 1:They never mentioned America or even claimed to have any affiliation with America.
2:This was *one* incident, rape goes unreported many times in Dubai and when it is reported 4 witnesses are needed, and if only one of them says no then the case is dropped and the woman is charged for adultery weather she had any witnesses or not.

  7. bruv…the only expensive thing in dubai is the rent…everything else is cheaper than in ireland…i lived in both….grocerries r wayyyy cheaper btw… great video tho 😊😊😊

    1. Kari Flor really? something as inconsequential as touching her hair “drove you crazy?” If it bothers you, don’t watch it. Treating other people with kindness and respect is not very hard, and it makes you look ignorant and petty when you leave such a self-centered comment.

    2. Micki Stover…..
when someone post something….. they have to understand that it will come with good and bad comments….. you have your opinion….. I have mine….. OK πŸ‘Œ… thank you….

    3. Actually, without “negative” feedback/comments the YouTuber cannot become better. So everyone posting something negative, actually is doing something good for the YouTuber πŸ˜€

  8. I really like your review , it’s very tolerate and not bashing Muslims and our culture . And the fact u stated men have to wear Islamic clothing and not JUST women as most ppl in think women r forced to wear it n oppressed . Hope u enjoy ur stay

    1. Edward jh yes that’s true but it’s the culture. anyone that is not happy can always choose not to go to countries like that. Although Dubai accepts a lot of things and not that strict compared to other middle eastern countries. πŸ€—

  9. I felt like you were talking a lot but weren’t saying anything about Dubai. You seem to be avoiding certain topics maybe out of fear…? I now know that Dubai is expensive and hot…

    1. Holly I think you’re great. People always are jealous what can I say. Keep up the good videos and you can touch your hair as much as you want. Stay blessed love you ! Greetings from New York City β€οΈπŸ™πŸ’•πŸ’—πŸ’šπŸ’πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’žπŸ’–πŸ’“

    2. MS CANDY I’m gay so that’s definitely not case…having a great job is great, don’t get me wrong…but it’s not worth risking jail time (or worse) for lol
